Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 50

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 300/mt ($10/mt) over the past week to NTD 9,000-9,700 /mt ($319-344/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 37,500-40,000/mt ($1,328-1,417/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late December shipments
