SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 200/mt during the past week to NTD 9,200-9,500/mt ($306-316/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have declined by NTD 500/mt over the past week to NTD 36,000-39,500/mt ($1,199-1,315/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-December shipments.
