Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 46

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 200/mt during the past week to NTD 8,800-9,100/mt ($285-295/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved up by NTD 1,000/mt on the upper end over the past week to NTD 36,500-40,000/mt ($1,183-1,296/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late November shipments.
