SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 11,700-12,400/mt ($420-445/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 54,500-57,000/mt ($1,959-2,049/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-November shipments.
