Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 43

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable over the past week at NTD 7,600-8,300/mt ($265-290/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 37,000-39,500/mt ($1,291-1,378/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late November shipments.
