SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have moved down by NTD 400/mt over the past week to NTD 6,900-7,200/mt ($223-233/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 2,000/mt over the past week to NTD 36,500-39,000/mt ($1,181-1,262/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late October-early November shipments.
