SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by NTD 1,000/mt ($36/mt) over the past week to NTD 9,900-10,600/mt ($353-378/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 40,000-42,500/mt ($1,426-1,515/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early March shipments.
