Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 4

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by NTD 200/mt over the past week to NTD 7,600-7,900/mt ($254-264/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 33,500-36,000/mt ($1,119-1,202/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early February shipments.
