SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged during the past week at NTD 10,100-10,600/mt ($345-362/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 34,500-38,000/mt ($1,178-1,298/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late February shipments.
