SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable over the past week at NTD 11,300-12,000/mt ($403-428/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 47,500-50,000/mt ($1,695-1,784/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early and mid-September shipments.
