Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 31

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by INR 300/mt ($11/mt) over the past week to NTD 11,700-12,400/mt ($420-445/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by INR 2,000/mt ($72/mt) over the past week to NTD 49,500-52,000/mt ($1,778-1,868/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for end-of-August shipments.
