Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 3

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged during the past week at NTD 7,900-8,800/mt ($249-278/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved sideways over the past week at NTD 35,000-40,000/mt ($1,105-1,263/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early February shipments.
 
$1 = NTD 31.67
