Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 24

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 200/mt during the past week to NTD 7,100-7,400/mt ($235-245/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have declined by NTD 800/mt on the lower end over the past week to NTD 32,000-37,800/mt ($1,060-1,253/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-July shipments.
