SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon
scrap in
Taiwan are currently at NTD 6,900-7,200/mt ($229-239/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel
scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have declined by NTD 500/mt over the past week to NTD 33,000-38,000/mt ($1,097-1,263/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-June shipments.
