Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 19

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 500/mt ($18/mt) over the past week to NTD 12,800-13,500/mt ($458-483/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 36,500-39,000/mt ($1,305-1,395/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for late May and early June shipments.
