Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 15

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 300/mt ($10/mt) since last week and are now quoted at NTD 10,600-11,500/mt ($350-380/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have moved on a stable trend over the same period at NTD 40,500-44,000/mt ($1,339-1,455/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early and middle of June shipments.
 
$1 = NTD 30.25
