Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 15

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 800/mt ($28/mt) over the past week to NTD 11,100-11,800/mt ($391-416/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 36,500-39,000/mt ($1,287-1,375/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early May shipments.
