SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon
scrap in
Taiwan have moved on a stable trend since last week and are still quoted at NTD 10,300-11,200/mt ($340-370/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel
scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 500-1,000/mt ($16-33/mt) over the same period to NTD 39,000-42,000/mt ($1,287-1,386/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early May shipments.
