SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by NTD 300/mt ($11/mt) over the past week to NTD 11,000-11,700/mt ($388-412/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 39,500-42,000/mt ($1,392-1,480/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early and mid-April shipments.
