Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 10

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 200/mt during the past week to NTD 10,400-10,900/mt ($355-372/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 37,500-41,000/mt ($1,279-1,399/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early April shipments.
