Additional ex-US scrap deal in Turkey

Sources close to the market inform SteelOrbis that a Turkish steel mill has closed a deal on 40,000 mt of scrap comprised of 33,000 mt of HMS I/II 80:20 at $340/mt CFR, 5,000 mt of shredded at $347.50/mt CFR, and 2,000 mt of bonus/shredded at $352.50 mt CFR. This latest deal continues supporting strong buying prices for imported scrap by Turkish mills.
