Wire rod prices in the Turkish domestic market have softened by about TRY 10/mt ($6/mt) since last week to TRY 1,136-1,220/mt ($628-674/mt) + VAT ex-works, depending on the region. However, it is known that producers may offer even lower prices for larger volume orders.

Wire rod demand in Turkey has not shown significant changes since last week, while buyers have continued to conclude transactions in line with their needs. In the meantime, demand in the Turkish finished steel market is weak in general, just days before the start of Ramadan.
