Wire rod export prices maintain stability in Brazil

A local exporter confirmed to SteelOrbis that fresh wire rod export deals remain closed since early May at $634/mt for the mesh grade and $653/mt for the drawing grade, both FOB conditions.
 
A trader mentioned rumors of wire rod exported from Brazil at the end of May in a price range of $450/mt to $460/mt, FOB conditions.
 
In April, with price deals probably closed in February, ArcelorMittal exported wire rod in average at $568/mt, while Gerdau exported at $481/mt, both FOB conditions.
