Ex-southern Europe wire rod offers have remained unchanged during the past two weeks ahead of the Easter Holiday. According to market sources, Italian producers' wire rod offers to the export markets are at €415-430/mt ($448-464/mt) FOB, while their Spanish competitors' wire rod export offers are at approximately €415-420 ($448-454/mt) FOB.

European market players state that wire rod demand has seen no improvement before Easter, while the outlook for the market is expected to be clarified after the holiday.
