It is observed that the trading activity in the local Turkish wire rod market has failed to accelerate following the end of holiday period which started on August 30 with the national Victory Day holiday and continued with the Feast of Sacrifice (Aug. 31-Sept. 4). Having moved sideways during last week due to the weakness of demand as well as the stability of import scrap quotations, despite the increases recorded in billet quotations, in the current week domestic wire rod prices in Turkey have continued their stable movement.
