Although the overall trend for US import rebar prices is still pointing decidedly upward, offers are “mostly unchanged” this week, according to sources, although further upticks are expected in the near term, due in large part to US domestic rebar trends.

For now, US import rebar offers from Turkey are still at $41.00-$42.00 cwt. ($904-$926/mt or $820-$840/nt) DDP loaded truck in US Gulf ports, while offers from Mexico are still in the range of $39.50-$40.50 cwt. ($871-$893/mt or $790-$810/nt) DDP Houston.
