UAE-based ESI increases its May output rebar offers

UAE-based steelmaker Emirates Steel Industries (ESI) has increased its rebar prices for May production by AED 146/mt ($40/mt) to AED 1,671/mt ($455/mt) ex-works, as compared to its previous prices announced on March 14 for March and April output materials. Market sources state that the producer is offering discounts of $10/mt, depending on buyer and tonnage.
