UAE-based ESI announces sharp hike in its June output rebar offers

UAE-based steelmaker Emirates Steel Industries (ESI) has increased its rebar prices for June production by AED 606/mt ($165/mt) to AED 2,277/mt ($620/mt) ex-works, as compared to its previous prices announced on April 6 for May output materials. Market sources state that the producer is offering discounts of $10/mt, depending on buyer and tonnage.
