According to market sources, Turkish mills' mesh quality wire rod export offers have remained stable since last week at $585-595/mt FOB. Demand for Turkish wire rod in the Middle East has remained on the weak side due to Ramadan and low-priced Chinese wire rod export offers.

On the other hand, demand in the US for Turkish wire rod has remained strong, with Turkish mills' mesh quality wire rod offers ranging at $620-630/mt CFR FO US Gulf coast ports. The demand situation in Europe, meanwhile, for Turkish wire rod is slack with the impact of the summer period, while some buyers in Brazil and North Africa have been continuing their inquiries.
