SteelOrbis is informed that Turkish mills are offering rebars for export to destinations other than the US and Persian Gulf markets at $950-1,000/mt FOB on actual weight basis for June shipments.

The Turkish producers selling to the UAE are offering at price levels of up to $1,000/mt FOB, while Turkish producers selling to destinations other than the UAE are offering at $950/mt FOB.

The Turkish producers' offers have not changed this week, following the rapid increases observed in this market in recent weeks. Currently, it seems that no market, except the Persian Gulf, is able to accept the price levels reaching towards $1,000/mt FOB.

The Turkish export rebar offers to the UAE are at $1,030-1,040/mt CFR on theoretical weight basis. It is heard that there have been some small-tonnage sales concluded to the market in question at the price level of $1,025-1,040/mt CFR.
