According to market sources, a Turkish steel producer has concluded several
rebar deals with different buyers in the United Arab Emirates (
UAE) in the range of $330-333/mt CFR, for January shipment. This price range is $5-6/mt higher than the price levels in the producer's previous
rebar deals to the same destination concluded last week.
Another Turkish steelmaker has also concluded several deals with different
UAE-based buyers for a total of 30,000 mt of
rebar at $332/mt CFR, for January shipment.
