Turkish merchant bar export prices fall sharply due to weak demand

It is observed that demand received by Turkish merchant bar producers from the international markets has been at very low levels over the past two weeks. Market sources state that, having been failing to receive enough demand from their domestic market, Turkish mills have gradually reduced their prices. While Turkish producers’ new merchant bar export offers have failed to gain acceptance, buyers are still exerting pressure on quotations.
