Today, March 15, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have fallen by TRY 200-500/mt ($2-20/mt) amid weaker demand in the country, while Turkish mills’ rebar prices have remained firm on US dollar basis. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 15,500-15,900/mt or $897-920/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Most mills in the Izmir and Marmara regions are currently offering at $950-960/mt ex-works amid the positive sentiment in the raw material segment.
