Today, October 22, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have increased by TRY 30-60/mt, with minor changes in prices on US dollar basis, as local mills have been aiming to offset exchange rate fluctuations. Accordingly, 12 mm spot rebar prices have settled within the range of TRY 4,120-4,210/mt ($439-448/mt) ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Today, İçdaş has raised its rebar price by TRY 80/mt in the afternoon and currently at TRY 4,280/mt ($456/mt) ex-works, up by $2/mt over the day.
Most Turkish mills in Izmir and the Marmara region are currently offering rebar at around TRY 4,230-4,300/mt ($450-458/mt) ex-works.
In the Karabuk region, Yolbulan A.S. has hiked its rebar price today by TRY 20/mt to TRY 4,180/mt ($445/mt) ex-works, with its dollar price down by $5/mt.
In the Samsun region, Yesilyurt A.S. has today also raised its rebar price, by TRY 40/mt to TRY 4,240/mt ($447/mt) ex-works, with a decrease of $7/mt in its dollar price.
