Today, April 20, local rebar spot prices in Turkey have increased by TRY 20-50/mt, with minor changes on US dollar basis, following Icdas’s increase of its local rebar price yesterday. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey are now at TRY 5,880-5,970/mt or $614-623/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Most mills in the Marmara and Izmir regions are currently offering rebar at $630-635/mt ex-works at the current exchange rate.
In the Samsun region, Yesilyurt A.S. has increased its rebar price in the local currency by TRY 30/mt to TRY 6,080/mt ($635/mt) ex-works, with its dollar prices stable.
Most rebar buyers are purchasing only in line with their daily needs.
