Today, August 4, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have increased by another TRY 100-200/mt ($4-10/mt) against the backdrop of rapid currency fluctuations and firm import scrap prices. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey have settled at TRY 13,200-13,700/mt or $623-646/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Most mills in the Marmara region have kept their official rebar prices stable at $620-640/mt ex-works, including Icdas A.S. Special discounts are only applicable for serious buyers.
