Today, April 14, rebar spot prices in Turkey have decreased by TRY 50-70/mt ($3-5/mt) compared to the beginning of this week. Accordingly, 12 mm rebar spot prices in Turkey are now at TRY 5,850-5,910/mt or $613-619/mt ex-warehouse, depending on the region. The general sentiment in the local rebar market is negative amid sluggish demand during Ramadan and the ongoing currency fluctuations.
Most mills in the Marmara and Izmir regions have kept their rebar list prices at $620-635/mt ex-works.
In the Samsun region, Yesilyurt A.S. has opened its rebar sales today at TRY 6,050/mt ($634/mt) ex-works, down by TRY 30/mt ($1/mt) over the same period.
