Traders’ prices in the local Turkish rebar market have remained stable as compared to Friday, June 21. Meanwhile, the improved political stability in Turkey following the completion of the municipal election in Istanbul on Sunday, June 23, and its impact on the Turkish lira-US dollar exchange rate is expected to be reflected in the price trend in the Turkish rebar market in the coming days.
Today, June 24, Turkish mill Izmir Demir Celik kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices at TRY 2,712/mt ($467/mt) ex-works, while Icdas has decreased its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 30/mt to TRY 2,700/mt ($465/mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT.
