Turkey’s rebar export offers

SteelOrbis has been informed that Turkish mills are offering rebar for export to regions other than the US and the Persian Gulf in a range of $1,340-1,350/mt FOB Turkey on actual weight basis for September shipments.

Having almost completed all their sales for the month of September, the Turkish mills are now focused on concluding deals for October. While ex-Turkey rebar offers for Eastern Europe and the Middle East (except for Dubai) vary in a range of $1,340-1,350/mt FOB Turkey, it is also heard that some bookings have been concluded at the level of $1,470/mt CFR Dubai, which corresponds to $1,433/mt on an FOB Turkey basis.
