Turkey’s Kardemir reopens its rebar sales at lower price

Today, December 9, Turkey’s Kardemir, has re-opened its rebar sales again, while decreasing its rebar price by around $20/mt compared to Tuesday, December 7.

Accordingly, the company has opened its rebar sales at TRY 9,640/mt ($702/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, down by TRY 230/mt ($19/mt). Yesterday, the general official rebar price in Turkey was at $730-750/mt ex-works, while the workable level was at $715-720/mt ex-works for serious buyers. The Kardemir has succeeded in selling 27,500 mt of rebar for now, while its sales still remain open.
