Turkey’s Kardemir raises its wire rod price by $45/mt

Today, September 9, Turkish integrated mill Kardemir has hiked its dollar-based wire rod prices by $45/mt as compared to Thursday, September 1, amid higher production costs.

Accordingly, Kardemir’s price for 5.5 mm SAE 1008-1010 grade wire rod is currently at $740/mt ex-works, while its 6-27 mm wire rod of the same steel grade is offered at $700/mt ex-works. In addition, 28-56 mm wire rod of the same steel grade is offered at $725/mt ex-works.

Wire rod prices exclude 18 percent VAT.
