Turkey's Kardemir opens its billet sales

Today, September 8, Turkey’s Kardemir has opened its local billet sales at $623/mt ex-works for S235JR grade, while its S420-B420 grade billet is available at $628/mt ex-works. The producer has cut its billet prices by $15/mt compared to its previous list price dated Wednesday, August 25. According to sources, the producer has so far succeeded in selling around 37,500 mt.

Prices exclude 18 percent VAT.
