Today, June 30, Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has raised its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 360/mt to TRY 12,800/mt ($650/mt) ex-works, since the beginning of this week. The main reasons are the relatively positive sentiment in the import scrap segment and currency fluctuations. The supplier has cut its wire rod price by TRY 30/mt to TRY 13,000/mt ($660/mt) ex-works. On US dollar basis, the mill has increased its rebar price by $20/mt, while keeping its wire rod prices stable.
