SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that Spanish domestic wire rod prices are still standing at €490-495/mt ($666-673/mt) for deliveries to customer, remaining unchanged since last week.
In the meantime, Spanish export offers for mesh quality and drawing quality wire rods have also remained unchanged since last week at €470/mt ($639/mt) FOB and €485/mt ($660/mt) FOB respectively.
Market sources report that the influence of the year-end holiday period is still felt in the markets and that activity is on the slack side at the moment.
