Buyers in the local Turkish rebar market have postponed their purchases with the influence of the declines recorded in import scrap prices in Turkey and also due to the lack of stability of the Turkish lira-US dollar exchange rate, and so demand in the local Turkish rebar market has remained at low levels. Due to the same reasons, traders in the local Turkish rebar market have reduced their domestic rebar quotations, decreasing them by TRY 40-50/mt compared to price levels recorded on March 20.
