SteelOrbis has been informed that demand for Spanish rebar in the international markets has remained at low levels over the past week. Market sources state that import rebar offers have pushed down domestic rebar prices in Spain, and so Spanish rebar suppliers have focused on their export markets. However, due to the highly competitive conditions in their target markets, Spanish rebar suppliers have been forced to reduce their export offers by €20/mt week on week to €490-500/mt ($573-585/mt) FOB.

€1 = $1.17
