Rebar export prices from southern Europe

According to market sources, Spanish rebar offers to the export markets have declined by €5/mt ($6/mt) during the past week to the range of €395-400/mt ($435-440/mt) FOB, for August shipment.
 
Meanwhile, Italian rebar offers to the export markets have also declined by €5/mt ($6/mt) to the range of €395-400/mt ($435-440/mt) FOB during the past week, for August shipment.
 
Market sources state that trading activities in southern Europe have slowed down due to the traditional summer offseason, while demand is now sluggish.
