According to market sources, Spanish rebar offers to the export markets have remained in the range of €410-415/mt ($459-465/mt) FOB over the past week, for July shipment. Market sources state that Spanish rebar exporters' stocks are still at high levels but, due to the slackness of foreign demand, dealers have been offering discounts for large tonnages.

Meanwhile, Italian rebar offers to the export markets have also remained in the range of €410-415/mt ($459-465/mt) FOB during past week, for July shipment. Market sources state that Italian rebar sales volumes to the Middle Eastern markets are at very low levels due to Ramadan.
