Rebar prices decreased by €20-30/mt in Poland in the first week of May and by a further €80/mt by the end of last week, due to very low demand. According to sources, domestic prices are currently at around €1,130-1,150/mt delivered. Local buyers are postponing purchases as they expect further price declines. "This is the same refrain we are hearing for every market in Europe," a trader commented.
