SteelOrbis has been informed that the local price of medium size rebar in the Italian market is currently at €760-770/mt ($1,175-1,191/mt) ex-works on actual weight and open account basis.

The rebar prices in the local Italian market have remained unchanged compared to the price levels of last week. It can be said that the main reason behind this is the expectation in the local market for a price increase after the holidays. In addition, no change in base prices has been observed compared to last week. The base prices in this market have this week been in the range of €550-560/mt ($851-866/mt).
